Overview
As Project Manager at Siemens, I oversee the successful execution of multiple international projects focused on automation and modernization of harbor cranes. My responsibility is to manage advanced hardware and software solutions for these cranes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. I lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, commissioning, and installation, while working closely with suppliers and end-customers to align project requirements and manage expectations.
My role involves providing clear financial oversight, ensuring that budgets are properly monitored, and that the execution of each project adheres to Siemens' high standards of quality and safety.
Scope & Responsibilities
Project Execution and Supervision
Manage the execution of international projects related to harbor crane automation and modernization. Lead and supervise engineering, commissioning, installation, and project teams to ensure the successful, timely, and safe delivery of projects.Supplier and Customer Alignment
Align with suppliers and end-customers to specify technical requirements, define project scopes, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Financial Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor and report financials, ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the project’s financial status.Risk Management and Quality Control
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety, quality, and success of each project.Cross-Department Collaboration
