Overview
As Project Director at Novar, I oversee the strategic execution and delivery of complex and large-scale sustainable energy projects. My role focuses on ensuring the successful realization of key projects, including solar PV parks, solar thermal parks, battery storage systems, and hydrogen production systems. I am responsible for guiding teams through the planning, design, financing and execution phases, ensuring projects align with Novar's sustainability goals and adhere to high standards of quality and efficiency.
I collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. My work includes strategic oversight, risk management, and ensuring that all projects contribute to the company’s mission of advancing renewable energy solutions.
Scope & Responsibilities
Realization of Sustainable Energy Projects
Oversee the execution of strategic energy projects, including solar PV parks, solar thermal parks, battery storage systems, and hydrogen production systems, from planning through to completion.Project Planning and Coordination
Lead project teams in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure all technical, operational, and regulatory requirements are met.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Manage relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, suppliers, contractors, and investors, to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with external expectations.Risk Management and Quality Assurance
Identify potential risks in projects, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe sustainable energy systems.Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to ensure all aspects of project delivery are integrated and aligned.
