Overview
At Ampelmann Operations, I held multiple roles, including Project Manager for systems located in the North & South America region. I was responsible for the entire lifecycle of offshore projects, managing procedural, financial, technical, logistical, and personnel aspects. My work ensured the successful delivery of Ampelmann’s high-tech gangway systems for offshore access. In addition to project management, I maintained an overview of system maintenance and was instrumental in providing operational support, including emergency response and troubleshooting, to ensure the 100% availability of all systems.
I also supported business development by providing technical advice and operational guidance for new opportunities in the Americas region, and contributed to the planning, production, and optimization of Ampelmann’s standard products and line production processes.
Scope & Responsibilities
Project Management
Managed all procedural, financial, technical, logistical, and personnel-related aspects of offshore projects for Ampelmann systems in the North & South America region. Ensured dedicated service throughout the length of each project.Maintenance Oversight
Responsible for the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for all systems in the Americas region. Managed the need for maintenance trips and ensured timely execution of all maintenance activities.Business Development Support
Provided technical assistance and operational advice to the business development team, supporting new opportunities and leads in the Americas region.Emergency Response (OCC)
As part of the Operations Control Centre (OCC), I was the first point of contact during emergency cases, providing troubleshooting, fault finding assistance, and supervision to resolve operational and critical system issues. Ensured 100% system availability through proactive and reactive problem-solving.Production Planning & Optimization
Managed the planning, budgeting, and timely execution of production for all standard products produced by Ampelmann Operations B.V. Supervised and optimized all line production processes to ensure efficiency and product quality.
